| In previous years, we’ve provided lessons that explore STEM-related topics. This year, however, we are excited to provide you with hard-core STEM lessons. We will publish one per month, and by the end of the school year, this series will include two science, two technology, two engineering and two math lessons. (For each discipline, one lesson will be appropriate for high school and the other for middle school students.) If you would like to peruse our previously published STEM-related lessons, see the Visions of Exploration archive.

“I love being a part of this program and appreciate the fact that it is offered. So many of my kids have no news resources other than USA TODAY on Wednesdays, and it gives us a chance to discuss them. I not only use it for improving reading and comprehension but also to give my students an opportunity to express their opinions freely. I get to know them better this way."
Paul Wojcik, math teacher, Millennium Middle School
