Regional Education Manager, New York

Kim Svoboda has been with USA TODAY since 2004 and successfully builds partnerships with school districts and corporate partners. She has a passion for connecting the USA TODAY Brand to educational partnerships and to exposing our nation’s youth to real-world information.

Prior to her role at USA TODAY, Kim spent her professional career in educational sales at newspapers throughout the country.

Kim has also been involved in many educational organizations including: Chicago Public Schools Links to Literacy Program, Milwaukee Public Schools Literacy Mentors Program, New York City Department of Education- Career and Technical Education Advisory Board and Virtual Enterprises International.

Kim is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication. In 2004, she was also presented with the schools’ Young Alumni Award. In addition to her bachelor’s degree, she also holds a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from the Harvard Extension School.
