The guide highlights the struggles and accomplishments of five groups — African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, American Indians, European-Americans and Asian-Pacific Americans. Each of the 15 lessons is based on a USA TODAY article and includes discussion questions, an activity and a reproducible graphic organizer.
