Launched September 2008, the College Basic Reading course is designed to strengthen adult learners’ reading comprehension skills to ensure their academic success at the collegiate level. With USA TODAY as the main text, the program also encourages a lifelong habit of reading. The 28 lessons in this program are designed to facilitate reading comprehension through effective, research-based reading strategies.
