USA TODAY and the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation have collaborated to offer an exciting financial literacy program entitled Choice is Power! Many of the educational resources found here use USA TODAY’s Financial Diet series of articles to examine debt, money management, saving and investing. Students will explore consumer spending and savings trends and examine Americans’ financial future. They will discuss steps that people can take to become financially healthy. Students will utilize math, problem solving and analysis to compare the difference between saving and investing for retirement at an early age.
