As a class, make a list of the criteria that you would use to determine the quality of the research in an article or editorial. (In other words, what elements would distinguish high-quality research from low-quality research, e.g., number of sources, etc.?). Then, read today’s debate or one of the editorials on the Forum page. Using your criteria, rate the author’s quality of research. What data does the author provide to support his or her assertions and/or conclusions?
