Last week’s stock market performance indicates that investors are scared — they’ve lost their faith in the financial system. Look through the paper and read an article about people who have lost faith — either in the stock market or in another system, organization or service. Then, write a two-paragraph letter to those who have lost faith. The first paragraph should summarize the reasons why they’ve lost faith — you should find those in the article you read. The second paragraph should persuade them to a particular course of action (either to keep the faith or to embrace an alternative). Make sure you include supporting examples or data to back up your persuasive arguments.
